Good morning Parents, Players, Volunteers and all associated with Park Celtic.
Thank You
As we enter the final stages of the 2023/2024 season, I would like to take this opportunity to firstly thank you all for your continued support of Park Celtic, and secondly to congratulate all the players (& parents) and coaches on the most successful season to date on the footballing front.

31 boys and girls teams playing football week in week out over the season is only made possible with your commitment and hard work. You know who you are!!!
We appear to have got the “seeding” right across the club with all teams being very competitive in their respective leagues. This is critical in both players’ happiness and development, in that they are playing at their level.
DDSL Finals
Could not let this opportunity pass without wishing the best of luck to the 4 teams who will now play in their respective DDSL Cup finals, starting off with the Girls today. This is a club record and again a lot of credit must go to the managers and the coaching staff of Paul, Luke & Patrick. Hats off to you all. Win or lose, this is a day that the players, parents and coaches will remember for a long time.
Would urge as many people to get out there and Support the boys (and girls) in purple.

#COYBIP - We have come a long way but we are only getting going!!!!
Volunteers – Your Club Needs You!
Whilst the club has made a lot of progress in this season, we have huge plans for Season 2024/2025 – with more club and team events planned throughout. However, the Club simply needs more volunteers to make things happen and to drive the Club on. If you are reading this don’t think “The Club needs help” – think “How can I help”.

First up is a Table Quiz on Friday 14th June at 8 PM in the Leopardstown Inn – all monies raised will go to LauraLynn Foundation – a very worthwhile cause. Details on how to register to follow through the normal channels.
Whether you would like to volunteer in any way possible, do not hesitate to contact me or any of the Committee members.
There are currently roles open in the following areas:
· Facilities (Pitch allocation for training planning; Players training & match gear; Pitch Maintenance)
· Events (Camp co-ordinators; Mini-World Cup organisers; Club Events - socials)
· Football (Academy assistant; Fixture Secretaries for SSG / 11 a-side; Girls Football Co-Ordinator)
· Community (School Co-ordinators; Community Liaison Officer)
· Governance / Welfare (Garda Vetting; Child Welfare Compliance for Coaches)
· Book-keeper
· Sponsorship Manager
· Website & Social Media Manager
The above list is not exhaustive and if you have a particular skillset from which you feel the club could benefit, please do get in touch. We would love to hear from you.
Or why not try and get more involved and join the Committee where your voice can be heard. The Club always has space for fresh and novel ideas. Ideally we would like new Committee members to come from academy / small sided game sides as at the moment they are not very well represented
Thank You Again
Finally, thank you to my fellow committee members for the significant amount of work that you do behind the scenes.
