U11 Division 3 Road to the Lee Kavanagh Cup Final
Our U11 Division 3 boys have qualified for the final of their first-ever competitive cup competition for the club, the boys have had a fantastic cup season and have played some excellent football to reach the Lee Kavanagh Cup final on the 26th of May at 10:30 A.m. The boys were lucky enough to receive a bye in the first round but were drawn to a competitive Terenure Rangers the game was a game of end-to-end action with Park coming away 2-1 winners thanks to a double from Matthew. The win saw Park book a quarter-final draw away to Malahide In what can be described as testing conditions every aspect from defence to attack functioned swiftly and a late goal from Jack saw Park come away 2-1 winners on the day booking a home semi-final against a strong Finglas United, while Park came 2-0 winners it was the defence on the day who won the game for Park with every boy giving it their all with special mention to Ben Plunkett for a stellar performance. The club would like to wish the U11 Division 3 boys the best of luck in their final and would also like to congratulate the boys on all their efforts to get to the final. We’d like to also congratulate the coaches for all their efforts in developing the boys and creating a fantastic atmosphere to play football.
